Cost Reductions ........ stronger together ........ The ILA will work to get your service charges and major works bills reduced by negotiating strongly with the Council and it's managing agents, Homes for Islington and Partners. The evidence from succesful challenges to bills, some of which have been cut by as much as 50%, suggests that overcharging is rampant. With full time staff we will be able to collect information from leaseholders so that we can build up a picture of overcharging. By employing our own surveyor we will be examining major works estimates across the board. With legal back-up we will be able to make strong cases if we need to take the Council to court. The ILA will pursue a policy of negotiating vigorously on your behalf and where we support court cases we will ensure that any benefits are passed on to fellow leaseholders. Our aim is to save you money by acting on behalf of all leaseholders.
